It's Sep! I'll be free in 6 more months!!! What a long period of time. Sigh. I got quite a shock when i was told that i had FYP last monday, right on the day when my 1st day of holiday started. Still dazed...
I have to endure everyday 9-6pm like working hours SOBBBB. Headed to turf city today for some foodie during lunch with the usual peeps! Felt quite bad for leaving Michelle & XR out :(

I'm going to share with you a place that i went for our foodporn date today. A place that might not be alien to some of you. And that is,
OMAKASE BURGER!!!
Located: The Grandstand (01-05)
So what is Omakase and its specialty?
Well, omakase means 'i'll leave it to you' in japanese. But it has nothing to do with the restaurant at all, which is damn stupid. We decided to give it a try since people have been raving about it so much lately. Some even considered it to be the best burger in sg. So was it really that good? Scroll down to find out!

They have quite a nice interior design
Super FRESH lemonade. Sour at first sip, and then the taste kicks in at the end.

They ordered the cheese burger + sweet potato fries. The fries was not too bad.
Twin ordered the Deluxe burger + onion rings. LOOK AT THOSE MASSIVE ONION RINGS HOW TO PUT INSIDE YOUR MOUTH SIA
THIS IS MINE! The cheese fries were so satisfying :)
I also ordered the Deluxe burger. It consists of beef patty, melted cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, mushrooms and grilled onions. You can choose how you want your beef patty. I had it medium.
When you first bite into the soft buttery bun, the juice from the beef patty oozes out. The cheese melts in your mouth, together with mushrooms and grilled onions all in one bite.
Verdict? Too oily for my liking. It's not revolting, but not that good either. Sausage mcmuffin has more flavour compared to this if you wanna compare. $16 is too much for a burger, which is even smaller than Mac's. If i were to go back, i would just order cheese fries + lemonade. At least the fries were better than KFC's. I have to do more cardio now!!!
Since we were already there, we went to check out Bitesizemonster at Pasarbella, farmers' market!

Her shop was quite deep in. CAN YOU SEE? It's damn stupid. They only serve waffles and cakes on weekends. What happens to the rest of the week? Rot ah. How they survive ah.
